Kickstarter to Feed the People of Ukraine
I heard about this fundraiser from Jeremy on Black Magic Craft, and I want to make it clear that I am not involved in it in any way. I don’t know the organizers, I won’t be handling the money. I’m just a guy who cares deeply about the war in Ukraine and the welfare the people and refugees who are literally starving there.
In this Kickstarter, Sergy Sobol, a resident of Kharkiv, and his American friend Caleb Goodson, have gathered together an ENORMOUS amount of STL files–$1000 worth of STL files, in fact–and you can get all of them for $50. And every dollar of the profits goes to delivering food and water to the people of Ukraine.
It is hard to concieve of how bad things are in Ukraine right now. There are a lot of well-deserved stories of the Ukrainian soldiers’ heroism, but the fact is that the fighting is brutal, the innocent population has been treated horribly–subject to abuse, torture, rape, and more–and people are literally starving to death in parts of the country.
This Kickstarter has currently raised more than $115,000, but we need to get more people to donate.
If you have a 3D printer, then this is a terrific deal to get some amazing models. If you don’t have a 3D printer, it’s still a terrific deal to save the lives of Ukrainians.
Ukraine has suffered immensely, and it is only by the constant influx of supplies from other nations, including weapons, but especially food, that the war is continuing and the Ukrainian soldiers are able to continue the fight in this unjust and unprovoked war.
I encourage you to donate.
